About Our Supported Living Services
At Highpointe Care, our Supported Living Services (SLS) are designed to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live as independently as possible in homes and communities of their choice.
We understand that independent living means something different for every person. Some individuals may need assistance managing finances or preparing meals, while others may require support with healthcare appointments, employment, personal safety, household responsibilities, or community participation.
Our approach is therefore person-centered, flexible, and individualized. We work alongside each person to identify their strengths, preferences, goals, and support needs and then provide practical assistance that helps them exercise greater control over their everyday lives.
The goal is not to take over daily responsibilities, but to provide the right level of support so individuals can make choices, develop skills, increase independence, and live meaningful lives within their communities.
Supporting Independence. Encouraging Choice. Building Meaningful Lives.
